'Sometimes' by Fernando - a balearic house EP featuring a Legowelt rework
Fernando is probably best known for his work as part of 2020 Soundsystem (2003-2013) and as one half of the Silver City duo, but as a solo producer over the last few years he’s notched up an impressive array of releases on labels including International Feel, Gomma, Futureboogie and Cynic.
Sometimes is a good old fashioned feel good track centering around an emotive Moog bassline and haunting keys. Legowelt delivers a stunning remix in the vein of his recent EP for Peoples Potential Unlimited, a 118BPM synth driven epic with a distinctive & exotic keyboard line taking centre stage. Life In Super 8 combines the best elements of Nu-Disco and EP closer Creciente shows the talents of Fernando’s live bass playing accompanied by spooky organ keys and live percussion.
