Ahead of our party on 11th Feb we caught up with Sascha Dive to talk about the music that's exciting him right now and what we can expect from him this year.

Highlights of 2011?
 
Ok we start at the beginning of the Year, New Years Day at the Goa Club in Rome was really amazing. Also Panoramabar was so great again.

Cocoon Heroes at Amnesia Ibiza, ibiza is always something really special for me and personally - the Amnesia is the best Club on the island with the Cocoon Heroes Parties. I really had some highlight moments there and at the after hours.

What's coming up for you in 2012?

In 2012 we have a lot new music coming up on Deep Vibes Remixes and EP's from Negghead, Amir Alexander, Willie Graf & Tuccillo, Halo & Blakkat, Fred P, Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts and of course new music from myself on Deep Vibes, Be Chosen, Oslo, Raum…Musik etc………

What artists do you tip for great things this year?
 
Kenny larkin will do some more good music i hope. Carl Craig, Fred P, Amir Alexander from Chicago.

Top 5 tunes of last year?

Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts - Ubiquitous gaze 

This track i really heard for the first time from Guillaume at an after party in Ibiza. We played together 4 or 5 times this year and afterwards he told me that he played that track on every live set when we played together. But i first recognized what an amazing tune this was when we were in ibiza.
 
DJ Ali - Park your Mind I have a lot records of him, but i didn`t hear any new music for about 5 years now. And he came back with this really dark groovin' record! I was really suprised!
 
Makam -  Things i embody (soul capsule remix)

Soul Capsule are thomas melchior and baby ford they made one track which is one of mine all time favourites called "las ramblas". And this remix whith that vocal "in my dreams in my soul In my spirit." Thats pure Magic, Come On!
 
Anonym 'go deeper' (kenny larkin remix)

I think i have all albums and EP´s from Kenny Larkin. But since his last album on Planet E there was no upcoming msuic from him. But this year or around last year he prodcued a lot of really good remixes, which i palyed often in my sets, for example his remxies for j alexander, radio slave and paris the black fu.

It was great to see that Kevin found another hero for me on Tsuba for a remix. And Larry Heard as always did an amazing job.
